Position Responsibilities
· Draft, review, negotiate, and prepare real estate and corporate transactional documents
· Review and prepare confidentiality agreements, easement agreements, listing agreements and third party vendor contracts
· Manage litigation matters and reporting
· Analysis of due diligence materials and evaluate identified risks
· Provide day-to-day legal and strategic advice relating to the interpretation of and compliance with contracts
· Develop and implement systems and procedures to deliver efficient and consistent legal advice regarding the conduct of company business
· Delegate work to paralegals and other staff, and provide leadership and guidance
Position Qualifications· Law degree from top 20 law school with admission to the bar (California preferred)
· 5+ years of high-quality transactional experience (emphasis on real estate preferred)
· Ability to effectively present and communicate information and advice
· Ability to handle detailed and complex legal projects
· Strong time management, organization and project prioritization skills
· Strong business and financial acumen as well as superior analytical and writing skills
· Strong interpersonal skills

2. LOS ANGELES POLICE COMMISSION SPECIAL INVESTIGATOR II
$84,396.96 - $104,838.48
Duties:
The Special Investigator II is assigned to the Office of the Inspector General and is responsible for planning, researching, examining and conducting audits related to police matters and analyzing Consent Decree data. The Special Investigator II will also be responsible for reviewing and auditing crime, arrest, use of force, and other reports used or prepared by Los Angeles Police Department employees for completeness and accuracy. The Special Investigator II will inspect systems and operations to determine if they are in accordance with Department objectives and conform to approved procedures and orders.
Requirements:
The Special Investigator II position requires, at a minimum, five years of full time paid sworn experience conducting criminal investigations; or three years of full time paid experience conducting internal investigations of alleged fraud, waste, or abuse; or two years of full time paid experience conducting internal investigations in the areas of law, journalism, academia, community advocacy, or other related fields.
